and Directorate General Resettlement, which is an inter service organization func­

tioning directly under the Ministry of Defence. He has also written a case study on

“Online Retail in UAE: Driven to Grow” and “Modi’s Visit to UAE: Uncovering

New Areas of Cooperation”, which are hosted by European Case Clearing House, a

case centre in the United Kingdom.

He received the Inquisitive Award in Unanimity-2020, organized and hosted by

Amity University Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He has been awarded the Star Supporter

Award 2019, which was presented by Manzil Center, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates;

Her Highness Sheikha Chaica S. Al Qassimi and Dr. Ayesha Saeed Husaini, Director,

Al Manzil Centre, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates awarded the Appreciation Certificate

and Star Supporter Award 2019 to Amity University Dubai, received by Vinod Kumar

Shukla for continuous support for community engagement and volunteerism. He has

received Memento for Amity University Dubai from Mrs. Gloria Gangte, Deputy Chief

of Mission, Embassy of India, Sultanate of Oman, for Guidance Seminar 2016.

Shaurya Gupta is currently working in the capacity of

Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) with University of

Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

He has completed his PhD (Information Technology) from

Amity University, Rajasthan. He has an MTech (Computer

Science) from Jagannath University Jaipur and has over 11

years of experience in teaching, administration, liaison and

coordination, student management, and research and analysis.

He has published various research papers and book chap­

ters in reputed research journals and books and attended many

national and international conferences as session chair and technical programme

committee member. He is also an editor of many books and journal special issues.

His areas of interest are blockchain, delay tolerant network, wireless sensor net­

work, ad hoc network, the Internet of Things and machine learning. Apart from

research, he is involved in academics by means of preparing exercises, question­

naires and assignments for students at various levels, setting and marking assign­

ments and tests, and assessing students’ work for internally assessed components of

qualifications at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Ajay Prasad, PhD Computer Science and Engineering (CSE),

MTech CSE has more than 21 years of experience in fac­

ulty positions at reputed institutions with substantial indus­

trial exposure. Currently, he is working as Senior Associate

Professor at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies,

Dehradun, India. He specializes in blockchain, computer

architecture, simulation and modelling, network/data security

principles, system programming, cloud systems, compilers

and digital forensics. His research contribution is in fine-grained centralized moni­

toring in cloud computing and many allied areas of security and others. He has
